For months, I’ve been telling you about Alabama Sen. Tommy Tuberville’s reckless stunt that’s been holding up the nominations and promotions of more than 300 senior military officers in order to protest the Pentagon’s abortion policy.
For most of that time, only my fellow Democrats were joining me in calling on him to end his ridiculous blockade.
Now, Republicans have had enough, too.
Earlier this week, GOP Sens. Dan Sullivan (AK), Joni Ernst (IA), Todd Young (IN), Lindsey Graham (SC), and Mitt Romney (UT) openly implored Tuberville to lift the hold for the sake of national security.
But Tuberville rebuffed them one by one.
Look, Tuberville is directly threatening our national security. And I’m sick of it. So we need to ramp up the pressure:
