Friend,
Last year, supporters like you helped 19 small, community-based nonprofits in the developing world advance our mission of global population stabilization.
Population Connection’s Global Partners work locally in countries ranging from Venezuela to Nepal to expand access to family planning options and reproductive health care, remove barriers to girls’ education, and conserve local natural resources through an integrated “population, health, environment” (PHE) approach.
Thanks to supporters like YOU, these small organizations are expanding their work, reaching more people, and contributing toward a healthier, more sustainable future for us all! Just two notable projects we funded include:
-
Securing 77 scholarships for girls to attend Nashipai Maasai Community Project’s Naning’oi Girls School during the most recent academic year. Ensuring that Maasai girls can attend school means that fewer vulnerable girls risk early marriage and female genital mutilation.
-
Providing family planning services, such as tubal ligations, vasectomies, contraceptive implants, and more, to over 1,000 people through Women for Conservation.
These programs represent an extension of Population Connection’s efforts to educate Americans about the dire threats of population growth and to advocate for progressive solutions to this global problem—most importantly, universal access to family planning options and reproductive health care.
Today, I’m thrilled to announce a $250,000 matching gift offer to support our Global Partners in the year ahead. Your fellow, generous supporter will double your donation—and all donations!—up to $250,000, through December 31st! This special campaign will make grants directly to our Global Partners to advance their work—and our shared mission—throughout 2024.
I hope you’ll consider a gift today—of any amount—to make twice the impact on these critical programs. Your gift of $15.00 will be doubled!
Please let me know if you have any questions or feedback—I’m excited to see what more we can do in the year ahead!
Warm regards,
