The CPUSA's National Peace Conference will take place this weekend, November 11th and 12th. We're happy to announce that the sessions on Saturday and Sunday mornings will be streamed on Zoom. You can register here to watch the live stream.
Saturday's session will consist of presentations on peace work as it relates to labor, women, African American, immigrant rights and youth struggles. Unfortunately, we will not be able to stream Saturday afternoon's workshops. On Sunday, we'll conclude the conference by discussing a plan of action for moving forward.
We have invited our fraternal parties in Palestine and Israel to participate in the conference on Saturday and Sunday morning, and they have accepted our invitation. A new peace movement is being born before our eyes as millions in the U.S. and around the globe are demanding a ceasefire in Gaza. Our conference will focus on changing U.S. imperialist foreign policy, on Israel, Ukraine, and ending the Cold War 2.0. Clearly, we've got a lot of work to do.
