Working out can get boring. That’s especially true if you can’t make it to the gym and have to rely only on bodyweight exercises, which can become pretty repetitive. An easy way to vary things up? Utilize a deck of cards. Yes, that deck of 52 playing cards you probably have somewhere in your home is perfect for adding some variety to your workout. It works like this: assign a specific exercise to a suit (spades = pushups; diamonds = reverse lunges, etc.), and shuffle the deck. Now, flip over the top card and perform however many reps as indicated by the number. Continue until the entire deck is depleted. Think it’s easy? Think again. You’ll never look at 52 pick-up the same way.
