Liberal MPs decided to stand with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau instead of standing up for you.

But the fight isn’t over. You still have a golden opportunity to make sure all Canadians can afford their heating bills this winter.

Here’s what happened in Parliament:

MPs voted on a motion to remove the carbon tax from everyone’s home heating bills. The Conservatives and NDP voted in favour. The motion was defeated because Liberal MPs teamed up with Bloc MPs and voted against giving you carbon tax relief.

Liberal MPs could have told the prime minister they work for you, not him.

Apparently, they haven’t gotten the message that all Canadians need carbon tax relief this winter.

There is good news. Momentum is building.

Another party is on the right side. The NDP voted in support of the Conservative motion to remove the carbon tax from everyone’s home heating bill.

More good news: every premier wants carbon tax relief for all Canadians.

Liberal MPs think they can barrel through this. They think the fight is over. They’re dead wrong. The fight is just beginning.
