Get to the polls, or help out in key states.
It’s Election Day in over 30 different states!
While there is only 1 federal race today, there are state-wide elections happening all over the country — many with abortion access as a central issue — that will have broader implications for national races next year.
In Virginia, the GOP Governor has vowed to pass on abortion ban if the state legislature flips Republican today. In Ohio, abortion rights are facing a massive disinformation campaign from state Republicans. In deep red Kentucky, the Democratic Governor is polling evenly with a supporter of the total abortion ban.
So let's get to the polls, or keep reading to help us get out the vote in other states!

Here are other ways to get involved in key elections around the country today:
- In Ohio, voters will vote on establishing a right to an abortion in the state constitution. Republicans have fought the referendum with a massive disinformation campaign, confusing voters on the wording of how to vote. Abortion rights activists are phonebanking today to ask people to vote YES on Issue 1, and create a constitutional right to access an abortion in Ohio.

- In Virginia, the entire state General Assembly is up for re-election, and has been a target for Republican funding and organizing. Yesterday, GOP Governor Glenn Youngkin promised he would “deliver” a total abortion if Republicans take control of the state legislature. Organizers today are phonebanking to get people to the polls in their various districts.
