Good morning Young Democrats,

Today is the final day to register ([link removed]) for CYD’s 2023 Endorsing Convention presented by the National Union of Healthcare Workers (NUHW) and the Pechanga Band of Indians in Sacramento happening alongside the California Democratic Party Convention happening November 17 - 19!

Register now ([link removed]) and view the packed agenda ([link removed]) which includes fun networking events, a Welcome Reception, a hosted breakfast and lunch, and numerous trainings to help CYD chapters, caucuses and members prepare to win critical 2024 elections for Democrats! We are also excited to welcome numerous guest speakers at our events, and CYD registration includes observer access to the California Democratic Party Convention.

Marriage Equality will be on the ballot in 2024, and CYD is supporting ACA-5 which will codify marriage as a right for all in California’s constitution regardless of sexual orientation, gender or race.

Friday night, November 17th during Convention in Sacramento our friends Equality California, Planned Parenthood Affiliates of California, Senate President pro Tem Toni Atkins, and Assemblymembers Josh Lowenthal and Evan Low are hosting a party with a special musical act, and they are providing a special rate of only $10 a ticket for Young Democrats to join the party. All chapters must renew/resubmit your chartering information and documents for 2024.

The open chartering period began November 1st, 2023 and closes December 31st, 2023.
