time—these are the very first TV ads to run in this race. [ [link removed] ]We need to
make sure we don’t fall behind, can you chip in $5 today?

Reserving TV ad time in California is incredibly expensive. But the
earlier we can do so, the better rates we get. Katie likes to say it’s a
little like booking airline tickets—if you wait until the last minute,
you’re probably stuck paying top dollar for a middle seat with a layover.
If we can’t afford to book ads until the final weeks of the race, we could
be left paying extra high prices for 3 AM spots.

We know we have to run TV ads in order to compete in this race, and the
