This Election Day reminds me of a fundamental truth I’ve learned in politics: Candidates are only as strong as their teams.

No matter how charismatic, inspiring, and experienced a candidate is, that candidate needs a team to win -- one that’s professional, well-trained, and reflective of the diversity of America and our electoral base.
