Tell the San Francisco Board of Supervisors to vote NO on the proposed charter amendment BEFORE TODAY'S MEETING - that starts at 2 pm

If you didn't get a chance to last week, you still have time to contact your District Supervisor, and urge them to vote NO on Supervisor Safai and, co-sponsor, Supervisor Peskin's charter amendment.

This proposed amendment is not the political accountability we need. Rather than creating accountability to the public as a whole, the bill makes the mayor uniquely vulnerable to interest groups during the time for budget review, while creating no accountability for the mayor to fully fund current SFMTA and Muni service-levels.

Your Supervisors need to hear from constituents like you to understand why this amendment poses a dangerous threat to SFMTA funding, and riders like you. Unfortunately, they will not be taking public comment on this amendment, which means it's even more critical that you click the link below to customize an email or a tweet to your Supervisor. If you feel even more inclined, give them a phone call using the prompts at the link below.
