[1]Justice Democrats
John —
Look at how much we’ve accomplished with just a few JDs in Congress. Can
you imagine what progressives would be capable of doing if we had another
5, 10, 20, or 30?
That’s our future, and every day Justice Democrats is working hard to make
it happen. That’s why we’re not done endorsing new candidates, and we have
some incredible news for you today:
[ [link removed] ]Today, we’re proud to announce the next three members of that
generation: Morgan Harper (OH-03), Alex Morse (MA-01), and Kara Eastman
(NE-02). Help them start their campaigns strong by donating

Each of these new Justice Democrat candidates will be powerful champions
for justice — and incredible allies in the fight to pass a Green New Deal,
Medicare for All, campaign finance reform, and an end to mass
incarceration and deportation.
Morgan Harper is part of a new wave of progressive Democrats pledging to
reject corporate PAC donations and fight unapologetically for working
people. She worked as a senior advisor at the Consumer Financial
Protection Bureau (CFPB), protecting consumers against predatory lenders,
and then used her skills at the Local Initiatives Support Corporation
(LISC), which invests in creating opportunities in under-resourced
communities. Morgan has seen firsthand the impacts of poverty and an
economy that does not work for all, and she’s dedicated her life to
changing it.
Alex Morse is the first openly gay mayor of Holyoke, Massachusetts, and
revitalized his community by investing in new green jobs. Even though he’s
only 30 years old, he’s taking on the 30 year incumbent Richard Neal, who
is one of the top recipients of PAC money in Congress. Neal’s spent
decades in the pocket of big business and massive corporations, and it’s
time to replace him with a new progressive leader who will hold those
corporations accountable — not pander to them.
Kara Eastman nearly pulled off an incredible upset victory against Don
Bacon in 2018 — losing in the Republican district by a mere 5,000 votes.
But despite her proven record of galvanizing voters with powerful
progressive ideals, the DCCC is already trying to undermine her campaign
by recruiting a different challenger in 2020. Kara showed the entire
nation that you don’t need to give up your progressive ideals to run a
competitive campaign, and that fighting for the issues that center the
diverse, working-class people of this country is a strategy that can win.
[ [link removed] ]These leaders have incredible potential, but they’re up against
powerful establishment and Republican forces. Will you split a donation
between all three today to help launch their campaigns, and fight for a
new generation of progressive leaders?

Every day, we’re building a democracy that works for the people. That
effort wouldn’t be possible without people like you, standing up for our
shared progressive values. Thank you.
In solidarity,
Justice Democrats
