Team,
Last month we saw another heartbreaking mass shooting in Lewiston, Maine, killing 18 people and injuring 13 others.
There have already been almost 600 mass shootings in 2023. Americans are demanding action, but Speaker Mike Johnson and MAGA Republicans in the House are still refusing to pass common-sense gun reform.
Johnson claimed that guns aren't the problem, saying the “human heart” is to blame for mass shootings. We must reject Johnson's notion that we are powerless against gun violence.
Between 1994 and 2004, the U.S. had a federal ban on assault weapons. There was a substantial decrease in public mass shootings, gun deaths, and gun injuries while the law was in effect.
Chris supports reinstating a federal assault weapons ban to prevent these tragedies. Are you with him?
If you agree it's time to get weapons of war off our streets, join Chris in supporting a federal assault weapons ban today >>
Thank you,
Team Pappas
