All across Georgia today, cities and counties are holding elections for positions such as mayor, city council, school board, and municipal judge. Other important measures may be on your ballot including sales taxes, bonds and homestead exemptions.

Local elections tend to have low voter turnout even though their results can have a bigger impact on our lives than the big-ticket elections such as President or Congress.
* We saw the impact last year when the City of Atlanta voted ([link removed]) to fund abortion and abortion trafficking.
* We saw the impact this year when Fulton County voted to fund abortion and abortion trafficking which - THANKS TO YOU - was defeated ([link removed]) !

Remember, many of our mayors and city council members aspire to higher office. Today, every single vote matters.
