Senator Tuberville Is Right to Challenge Military Wokeness

• Last week, a few Senate Republicans unsuccessfully moved to undermine Sen. Tommy Tuberville’s (R-AL) principled protest of the Pentagon’s illegal abortion policy, echoing liberals in their attacks on Tuberville.
• Since Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin issued a memo in February to provide taxpayer-funded travel and additional paid time for servicemembers and dependents to get unrestricted abortions, Senator Tuberville has blocked the swift, unanimous approval of all general and flag officer nominations before the U.S. Senate. 
• Senator Tuberville is taking a principled stand for life and the rule of law. Secretary Austin turned the military into a taxpayer-funded abortion travel agency—in defiance of federal law, the role of Congress, and the will of the American people. All conservative, pro-life lawmakers should stand with Senator Tuberville.
• The Pentagon’s abortion policy is illegal, immoral, and wrong.
• Conservative senators should stand with Senator Tuberville. Siding with liberals who support abortion without restrictions is unacceptable, especially for lawmakers who claim to be pro-life.

Don’t Hold Up Israel Aid to Further Ukraine War Funding

• The United States’ closest ally and strategic partner in the Middle East is well equipped to respond to this escalating war and defend its people, but military support from the U.S. will be necessary in the coming weeks.
• Israel must defeat Hamas, and America must stand united with our great ally as they work to fully defeat the terrorist organization. The Biden administration must do everything possible to get missing Americans back and immediately end the policies that have appeased and emboldened Iran and other adversaries around the world.
• As Congress considers any U.S. assistance to Israel, lawmakers must ensure that this assistance is considered separate from any other U.S. aid to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. These conflicts are separate and require different responses from the United States.
• Conservatives should also insist on securing our own borders and fully enforcing our immigration laws, considering that Hamas and other terrorist organizations have infiltrated our homeland through our open borders and continue to do so today.

Never-Ending Inflation: That’s Bidenomics in Action

• It’s bad enough that the White House helped create 40-year-high inflation. But now it has the audacity to gaslight the American people by not only minimizing the problem, but pretendingto be part of the solution.
• When Biden took office, inflation was below the Federal Reserve’s 2% target, with prices rising a mere 1.4% over the prior 12 months. After a year and a half of Biden’s runaway government spending and borrowing, prices were rising almost that fast in a single month, with annual inflation reaching 9.1% -- 6.5 times the rate Biden inherited.
• The latest inflation data from the Biden administration’s Bureau of Labor Statistics show that prices rose an average of 3.7% over the last 12 months.
• The Biden administration has done nothing to reduce inflation. Even the deceptively named Inflation Reduction Act, advocated for and signed by Biden, has not reduced inflation. In fact, by increasing deficit spending and imposing new energy taxes, the legislation is raising prices.
