Make a plan now to cast your ballot in this year’s all-important state legislative and local elections. It has been a privilege to serve Southwest Virginians in the Senate of Virginia, and I humbly ask for your vote in the newly drawn 6th Senate District which includes the counties of Buchanan, Dickenson, Lee, Russell, Scott, Washington, Wise; and the cities of Bristol and Norton. With your support, I look forward to building on our successful record of economic development and job creation, securing investments to address the opioid epidemic, pay raises for law enforcement and teachers, and working to address critical infrastructure needs and opportunities—such as developing an inland port in Southwest Virginia. We have made significant progress over the last four years, accelerated with Governor Youngkin’s victory in 2021. Whether it be reopening our schools from the pandemic and passing the largest K-12 education budget in Virginia history, securing school construction and modernization funding for the first time in decades, or deploying the funding necessary to achieve universal broadband—we can point to real victories that will lift up every Virginian and help make our Commonwealth the best place to live, work, and raise a family. As you cast your vote, I ask that you support the Republican ticket up and down the ballot. Like the saying goes, “all politics is local,” and it is important that we work to elect Republicans to every office. I am excited about a bigger, brighter, and bolder future for Southwest Virginia and the wonderful folks proud to call it home. That future starts with your vote.
