Hunter harvest survey reminder

CHEYENNE ??The Wyoming Game and Fish Department wants to know how your Wyoming hunt went this year. Many hunters have received a harvest survey via e-mail or the U.S. Postal Service. The survey gathers harvest information and feedback on the 2023 hunting season. *It takes only a few minutes to complete and contributes valuable data for monitoring the state?s wildlife populations, setting future quotas, season dates and other regulations. Game and Fish proposes three instream flow water rights to protect native trout

Updated G&F Shield

CHEYENNE ??Three stream segments with crucial native trout habitat are proposed for streamflow protection in Wyoming. The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is seeking instream flow water rights for segments of Crandall Creek, Dead Indian Creek and Muddy Creek in the Clarks Fork of the Yellowstone River basin. All three segments are entirely on public lands. *The proposed water rights are important to maintaining populations of Yellowstone cutthroat trout in their native range. [ [link removed] ]*
