Image description: Illustration from PPT Member Marcel Walker that is used for PPT's 2023 strategic plan. It shows 6 riders smiling and talking getting onto a bus with a smiling bus driver. There is a bus stop sign next to the bus that says "This Bus Is For All Of Us!"
After last month's round of service cuts, PRT is moving forward with a new project to redesign the entire map of our transit system. Its being called the "Bus Line Redesign".
This project holds incredible potential, but it also has some big potential pitfalls.
Our bus service has been getting later and later, month after month. [[link removed]]
If we're going to reverse the downward trend of service cuts at PRT then we need to have a vision for a system that meets all of our needs.
PRT's Bus Line Redesign can be the ticket we need to better transit service, but transit riders need to get organized to demand a grand-scale vision for what our transit service needs to be.
We are organizing to build that big vision for what our transit service needs to be. Can you join us at our virtual meeting on Wednesday, November 8th to design the Riders' Vision for a system thats big enought to meet all of our needs?

PRT’s new Bus Line Redesign is getting started - and YOU need to be involved.
Its finally happening. PRT has been speaking for months about doing a redesign of the entire bus network after it was identified as a top priority in their NexTransit plan. Just last week they issued a press release to say that the redesign process is moving forward, full steam ahead.
