Dear John,
Elections are happening tomorrow in localities across the country—from municipal elections to school board races to judicial contests. Click here to review what’s on your ballot and make a plan to vote! Here are some other helpful reminders:
💬 Follow your local elections office for up-to-date information. Local election officials often use social media to share accurate information and important updates. Look up your election official’s contact information by visiting our Verifier tool and clicking on your state and county.
✔️ Check your voter registration. Before you head out to vote, #checkyourreg here to confirm that your voter registration information is up to date and to find the location of your polling place or vote center. If you see a problem, contact your local election office or the Election Protection Hotline immediately.
🗳️ Learn about your voting equipment ahead of time. Visit the Verifier to see what voting equipment will be used in your polling place or vote center! Visit our Voting Equipment Database for even more resources and instructional videos about your voting equipment.
🔎 Check your ballot. The simplest thing you can do to secure your vote is to double check your paper ballot to verify your selections before casting your vote, especially if you’re using an electronic voting machine to fill out your ballot.
📞 Call the 866-OUR-VOTE hotline if you encounter an issue. We’re working with the Election Protection coalition to monitor and advise on election equipment issues during the election period. If you encounter any problems while voting, contact the Election Protection hotline at 866-OUR-VOTE (866-687-8683).
With thanks,
