After Roe v. Wade was overturned last year, state legislators across the country introduced 563 provisions to restrict access to abortion. And in the same year, 50 of them were signed into law in various states.

In between House Republicans’ infighting last month, they also let pandemic-era childcare support expire, leaving countless families who relied on these funds to hang high and dry.

Friend: This is a calculated attack on our families.

With increasingly limited autonomy for families to determine if, when, and how they have children, Republicans are placing additional burdens on families by stripping them of critical financial assistance to raise their kids.

Yesterday, we turned back our clocks, but it’s clear that the current wave of extremism in the Republican Party wants to turn us back by 50 years — and we need to stop them.
