HGL on the road

HGL recently hosted a Political Tech Summit in partnership with the Democratic Data Exchange, New Media Ventures, OneOne Ventures, and Community Tech Alliance. To highlight our progress to date and preface the battlefield ahead in 2024, our cohosts briefed our community members in the Bay Area on the impacts of political tech and the critical importance of early investing.

HGL was also proud to be a partner for the Association of State Democratic Committees' 2023 Vendor Showcase alongside the DNC Tech team in St. Louis, MO last month. The Showcase, hosted by the ASDC Leadership Circle, helped spotlight important political and campaign tech for Democratic state parties, including HGL portfolio companies like Civitech, Universe, Impactive, Daisychain, and GoodChange.

Relentless ([link removed]) (HGL6) is powering scaled relational organizing programs for Mi Familia Vota in TX and Brandon Presley for Governor in MS. So far they’ve compensated 1.4k+ mobilizers in Mississippi who identified 16k+ voters who didn’t vote in the last governor’s race — with more to come.

JusticeText (HGL5) won the $300k Dream.Org Justice Innovation Prize ([link removed]) at SOCAP Global, recognized as a leading innovation driving criminal justice reform in the US.

Paladin (2021) launched a partnership with the Department of Justice ([link removed]) , providing every DOJ attorney with access to Paladin to power the DOJ Pro Bono Program.
