Let us make something very clear: Our gripe is not and has never been with the people of China. The people of China deserve to live with respect and dignity, and we are grateful for the contributions of Chinese Americans in the history of America.
Our problem lies with a government ruling China that has no respect for international law, or the sovereignty of their neighbors, oppresses opposition, and unleashes the COVID-19 pandemic on the world. THAT is our problem.
For our Governor to ignore these glaring issues and choke any criticism of his actions up to xenophobia is dangerous, and ignorant, and ignores the glaring threat of the CCP to the sovereignty of our nation. We won’t stand for it, and we hope you won’t either.
We want to know if you think Illinois should be working with the CCP at all.
