And yet, for far too long we’ve been left out of the conversation around how to keep kids and families safe in a country with more guns than people.

That’s why we started Teachers Unify: Teachers are a critical voice in the fight to end this country’s gun violence epidemic, and we need to be heard, too.

Our organization is leading the charge among educators and school staff to make schools safer for everyone, and there is so much we can accomplish. But we’re regular teachers going up against the massive gun lobby, so we can only do this with grassroots support on our side.
