Now is the time to get health care coverage for 2024. From November 1st to January 31st, you can renew, review, or enroll in health care coverage in the New Jersey marketplace at getcovered.nj.gov.
Over the past two years, I worked with the Biden-Harris Administration and my Democratic colleagues in the House to enact the American Rescue Plan and the Inflation Reduction Act, which expanded financial assistance to lower premiums and help more Americans purchase health insurance. Because of this legislation, four out of five Americans can now find plans for $10 a month or less and South Jerseyans enrolled in the ACA marketplace will save an average of $1,080 in premiums this year.
No one should have to choose between affording their health insurance and putting food on the table for their family. I’m proud that the number of uninsured Americans reached an all-time low of 8% in 2022, and I will continue to work to ensure every South Jerseyan can access affordable, reliable health insurance.
