Are you ready to head to the polls tomorrow to cast your vote in the judicial and municipal election? Making a vote plan ahead of time by asking yourself a few simple questions is an important yet easy step!
Question 1: What time will I go vote?
Polls are open from 7AM-8PM but remember that election day is on a Tuesday so think about what you have going on this upcoming Tuesday (work, school, etc.) and plan to vote in a time window that you're free.
Question 2: Where do I vote?
Just because you know where you've voted in the past, doesn't mean that your polling location hasn't changed since the last election. Click here to double check where your polling location is so you head to the right place to cast your ballot.
Question 3: Do I need ID?
In Pennsylvania, you only need to show ID if it's your first time voting or your first time voting at a new precinct. For a full list of acceptable IDs, click here.
Question 4: Who am I voting for?
It's important that we have justices who will protect our voting rights, protect our right to an abortion, and ensure our schools are funded -- and that's why the New Pennsylvania Project is encouraging everyone to vote for Judge Dan McCaffery for PA Supreme Court! If you're not sure who else is on your ballot, check out this sample ballot locator from affiliated organization the New PA Project Education Fund.
