As we stand on the cusp of Election Day, I am reaching out to you not just as a candidate, but as a neighbor and fellow resident who is committed to the prosperity and safety of District G. I'm also reaching out as a man who came from humble beginnings, a proud son of a butcher and a high school cafeteria worker, and a U.S. Marine. These roots have instilled in me the values of hard work, service, and a deep sense of duty to our community.
My journey has been one of advocacy and action. Recognized as Texas Attorney of the Year, I've fought for Harvey victims, championed the cause of oil spill victims, and stood alongside public figures like Governor Rick Perry, advocating for justice and accountability. These experiences have not only shaped me but have also prepared me to serve our community with the same fervor and dedication.
I'll bring this same tenacity and expertise to serve District G—fighting for what matters to us. This isn't about a paycheck; it's about a promise. A promise to stand up for you, just as I have for countless others throughout my career.
On Council, I will leverage my experience to ensure that our streets are safe, our community's voice is heard, and our city's budget reflects our priorities. I will work tirelessly, as I have in the courtroom, to bring about the change we need.
