Team,

I’ll keep this note very brief.

My name is Gabe Amo, and I am the Democratic nominee for Congress in Rhode Island’s First Congressional District.

I am the son of two West African immigrants — my father, from Ghana, owns a small business and my mother, from Liberia is a union nurse in nursing homes.

Of all the places in the world that they could meet, they met in Providence, Rhode Island (no, not Long Island, as non-Rhode Islanders sometimes think)!

I have had the opportunity to work for former Rhode Island Governor and now Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo, and for the President of the United States twice: first President Obama, and just seven months ago for President Biden.

I worked closely with Secretary Pete during my tenure in the Biden White House to positively impact local communities across the country, and I am so impressed by the work that he has done.

We have just a few days left until election day on Tuesday, November 7th! Can you rush a donation to my campaign to ensure that we can cover last minute expenses, fully pay to keep our television ad on air, and to pay for final campaign printing needs? [[link removed]]

Our campaign has relied heavily on volunteers, people coming together to elect strong Democrats to Congress to stand up to extreme Republicans in the House Majority.

I’m so grateful for their support and I hope I can count on yours too!

Sincerely,

Gabe Amo

Democratic Nominee for Congress, RI-01
