Tell Congress to Protect Animals Now ([link removed])

Friend,

Millions of animals will be doomed to suffer unless Congress takes action to protect them through legislation that is pending now. Time is of the essence. We need to secure vital animal protection measures before the end of the year and before lawmakers and the public turn their attention to the 2024 elections.

We need your help:Please tell your members of Congress to support legislation now that protects animals and to defeat any measure that puts animals at risk of abuse or exploitation. ([link removed])

Stopping animal cruelty and suffering needs to be a priority for Congress even heading into an election year, and it’s up to us to ensure that it is.

We relentlessly advocate for animals every day, and with so many legislative battles underway today, we need your voice strengthening our fight. Your one action can impact all these critical legislative measures: ([link removed])

* Stopping the Ending Agricultural Trade Suppression (EATS) Act, or anything like it, which could eliminate state animal protection laws and doom billions of animals to lives of suffering. We must continue our fight to ensure the EATS Act, or anything like it, doesn’t make its way into the Farm Bill.

* The Humane Cosmetics Act would finally end cruel cosmetics testing on animals in the United States, protecting countless animals each year from outdated and ineffective testing just to sell lipstick or deodorant.

* The Puppy Protection Act would improve living conditions for tens of thousands of dogs and puppies kept in USDA-regulated puppy mills.

* The Save America’s Forgotten Equines (SAFE) Act would permanently ban the slaughter of horses in the United States and stop American horses from being shipped to other countries for slaughter.

* The Preventing All Soring Tactics (PAST) Act would finally end the cruel “soring” horses all to win a blue ribbon in the show ring.

* Ensuring grizzly bears and gray wolves continue to be protected by the Endangered Species Act and preventing these still-recovering species from being hunted to the brink of extinction.

Please speak up for animals today! Urge Congress to advance legislation before the end of the year that saves animals’ lives and protects them from cruelty. ([link removed])
