Trump-appointed Postmaster General Louis DeJoy has been an utter disaster for the U.S. Postal Service: Mail delivery has been massively delayed, shipping rates are rising, postal workers are sounding the alarm on their working conditions, and – since DeJoy has begun ‘steering the ship’ – the postal service has LOST BILLIONS.
But only one governing body can end DeJoy’s disastrous reign once and for all.

John, here are where things stand under DeJoy’s USPS:
Since DeJoy took over, 50,000+ USPS positions have been CUT.
The price of stamps has RISEN FOUR TIMES.
200+ -> postal offices are set to shutter at least some of their essential operations as soon as this month.
The U.S. Postal Service is losing a whopping 59% of its early tenure employees per year, and some remaining workers are protesting the understaffing.
15 House Democrats have questioned the USPS about its working conditions after a USPS employee collapsed and died during a heat wave.
70% of current Postal Service vehicles STILL DON’T have air conditioning, despite record-breaking heat waves.
And DeJoy’s policies aren’t making the USPS more profitable. This fiscal year alone, the agency has lost $5.2 billion.
That’s why 131,000 people have signed a petition urging the Postal Regulatory Commission to stop implementing DeJoy’s 10-year plan.
We cannot afford for DeJoy to remain Postmaster General – this vital institution is in trouble, and its ability to deliver mail, pay its retirees’ benefits, and more are under serious threat. DeJoy needs to be stopped, team.
