You, the goal of Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is simple: Save lives.

Throughout 2023, our teams of nearly 63,000 doctors, nurses, and other experts worked around the clock to provide comprehensive, lifesaving care amid rising malnutrition rates, ongoing war and conflict, surging measles cases, and other emergencies.

As we look ahead to 2024, we also want to take a moment to look back at the last year and the impact we were able to make—together.

Our generous donors have enabled MSF to quickly step up and meet emergency moments in over 70 countries across the globe. Your support demonstrates what we can accomplish when we work together to build a better future.

In 2023, with your support, MSF provided: 1) UKRAINE: More than 8,000 mental health consultations in seven different regions. 2) NIGERIA: Care for 10,200 severely malnourished children at 10 inpatient feeding centers. 3) PANAMA: Treatment for 669 people with chronic conditions, like diabetes, high blood pressure, and asthma. 4) TÜRKIYE/SYRIA: 1,550 medical consultations in our mobile clinic’s first month of operation. 5) SUDAN: Treatment for 1,000+ war-wounded patients at our trauma center.

As an independent medical humanitarian organization, MSF is focused on swiftly saving lives when an emergency strikes, often delivering care to places other organizations cannot or will not go. From earthquakes and monsoons to violent conflict and malnutrition, supporters like you have ensured that our teams have everything they need to face crises around the world.
