Tomorrow, our campaign will celebrate one of the most important
moments of our journey so far.

At the Democratic Party of New Mexico's Pre-Primary Nominating
Convention on Saturday, Ben Ray will stand in front of delegates
from New Mexico's 33 counties and ask them to nominate him as our
state's Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate.

This nomination will be a historic moment. Over the course of
his career, Ben Ray has worked to elect people of color up and
down the ballot. When we win in November, he will be the first
Hispanic senator from New Mexico in more than 40 years.

During his speech, Ben Ray will tell the story of why he fights
so hard for our communities. As the son of generations of New
Mexicans who worked the land, valued hard work, and believed in
the greatness of community, Ben Ray knows that New Mexican values
and New Mexican voices need to be at the table in the U.S. Senate
to tackle the challenges of today.

Since this campaign launched last April, our strength has come
from hard-working volunteers, small-dollar donors, and
enthusiastic voices like yours. We're deeply grateful for

POLITICAL UPDATE

FROM TAOS TO CARLSBAD, TEAM LUJÁN IS ON THE MOVE!

Over the last two months, counties across New Mexico have held
conventions to select the delegates who will represent their
communities at tomorrow's convention.

Team Luján was proud to have a presence at every county
convention, and we were thankful for the opportunity to speak to
voters across the state about Ben Ray's ideas and platform.

These conventions are the cornerstones of the Democratic process
and it is in these union halls and community centers that the
movement to keep New Mexico blue is reborn each election year.

THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN IS BACK -- BUT WE'RE FIGHTING HARDER THAN
EVER.

Last September, President Trump visited New Mexico for a
campaign mega-rally where he pledged to flip our state red in
2020. Since that rally, his campaign has been on a hiring spree,
with plans to bring dozens of operatives into New Mexico. On
Tuesday, President Trump reiterated his plans to compete in New
Mexico, declaring "Say hello to the people of New Mexico. I'll be
there soon."

Ben Ray takes these Republican investments extremely seriously.
Sixteen years ago, George W. Bush's campaign inundated New Mexico
state with organizers and won our five electoral votes, helping
him secure a second term in office. The stakes of the 2020
election are high, and our campaign will be fighting
tooth-and-nail to keep New Mexico blue.

BEN RAY EARNS THE ENDORSEMENT OF THE NATIONAL ORGANIZATION FOR
WOMEN

In February, our campaign was honored to receive the endorsement
of the National Organization for Women (NOW). NOW has fought to
advance equality and justice for more than fifty years, and Ben
Ray is honored to have their support.
