Dear John,
As I mentioned, Veterans for America First invited me and some other America First candidates to the border, to see firsthand the chaos that Joe Biden's incompetence has brought us.
This is worse than anyone really understands. It's worse than you think.
This is Sandy Smith. I'm running to unseat Democrat Don Davis, who (as you can see above) voted for an open border and helped bring this chaos down on us! ([link removed])
I wanted to share my journal of my trip, day-by-day, so you knew what I was seeing down here on one of the most dangerous borders in the world.

Arrived at border - Debrief on issues with the border
The government provides cell phone access and an app called CBP One App access to help them get onto American Soil. Provided by the US State Department and UN Funding these phone apps.
The "Aggressive River" is known as the Rio Grande or Rio Bravo from the Mexican side. Halfway across the river is is the US Border.
There were 153,000 homicides in Mexico. It's not safe there. There are Missing Children and Adults via Cartels each and every day. The most dangerous place for a journalist to work is in Mexico.
One big problem is rampant corruption in the Mexican Government.
The people coming across are in a rough state. 80-90% of women are pregnant who cross into the US-Mexico Border. Youngest child is 8 month old (so far), according to Victor our guide.
The Camera Towers don't work, even at millions of dollars expense of taxpayer money. They haven't been updated due to lack of software updates. There were infrared and day time cameras installed 23 years ago. However, there are no funds from Congress or Homeland Security for their operation.
The Biden Administration has stopped big lights and other security measures once they ended Trump's Border wall.
The first wall we saw was named "Bush Wall". I assume this was because it was installed during the Bush Years of 2000-2008; this was our first stop.
Smuggling goes on... the most common ages of smugglers are from 16 to 85 years old.
Police interaction isn't a custom in the illegal alien areas so they don't stop when entering here.
There are high suicide rates after crossing, usually due to dehydration and delusions.
Second stop was the crates with border wire on top of them, recently installed. Underneath the bridge, aka the train tracks. This is new construction due to the recent court changes of a Judge telling the Biden Administration they cannot remove the wire that Texas Government has placed.
Also witnessed the processing center of newly arrived Illegal immigrants, and two to three buses getting ready to drop them somewhere else. During our visit we asked several illegals where they were coming from, with several replying either Honduras or Nicaragua.
"A secure border saves lives." We need to look into HR 29- Border Security Bill.
Title 10 Order: The Army cannot touch the wire, they can only instruct Illegals to go back to Mexico. But because of border policies if the Illegal finds a way through the wire, they can seek entry into the United States.

The Dems won't fix it. They created this mess. They invited these people to make this deadly journey and empowered the smugglers and cartels.
Don Davis voted with the smugglers.
We MUST close the border NOW. It's an act of mercy, not just for the citizens of our country but for the illegal immigrants themselves. The Democrats are responsible for the death of tens of thousands of them by luring them here to break our laws.
