Dear
Friend,
On November 5, 1855, in the little city of Terre Haute, Indiana, a
young man was born to local grocery store owners that, one day, would
become, among other things; a railroad fireman, labor leader, twice
elected official, great orator, and eventual Presidential candidate
willing to stand up for his values, no matter how controversial they
may be at that time.
“I said
then, and I say now, that while there is a lower class, I am
in it, and while there is a criminal element, I am of
it, and while there is a soul in prison, I am not
free.”
- Eugene
V. Debs [1918]

Still to this day, Eugene V. Debs is as relevant now as he was back
in the days when he was organizing for workers’ rights, socialist and
independent electoral campaigns, social justice, and world peace. The
Green Party is helping to preserve Mr. Debs’ and his comrades’
legacy.
As we look towards the future and to perpetuating Debs’ legacy, we
must continue building our party, recruiting and supporting new
candidates, and getting our message out to the public. We
can't do this without your help. That's why we are asking for
your support as another election day comes around. We need strong
voices outside the two parties of War and Wall Street.
Any contribution you can make, no matter how small, will go a long
way towards supporting our efforts. We rely on the generosity of
people like you to help us continue the fight for a more just and
sustainable future.
Stand with us, and contribute
what you can, to help us in this ongoing struggle!
In
solidarity,
Green Party of the United States

P.S. Our monthly sustaining donors are the lifeblood of the party
and we are immensely grateful for them. If you haven’t
already, consider
joining the ranks of our Monthly Sustainers.
