Today’s a big day here in Georgia — we are exactly one year away from Election Day 2024. And our state is ground zero in the national contest for the White House.
It pains me to say this, but twice impeached, four times indicted insurrection ringleader Donald Trump is far and away the most likely candidate to be the GOP nominee. And it’s not even close. He has double the polling support that the next five GOP candidates have combined.
The next 12 months will be crucial to keeping Georgia blue and stopping a second catastrophic Trump presidency. And nowhere is that more true than in DeKalb County, the population center of my district, also known as Georgia’s blue wall.
