Folks,

We’re now just two days away from Election Day in Virginia, and Republicans have made one goal very clear: If they take control of the General Assembly, they’re planning to pass a ban on abortion that would end Virginia’s status as a haven for reproductive rights in the south.

To that end, a PAC promoting anti-choice candidates is spending more than $1.5 million to prop up Republican General Assembly candidates in Virginia.

These races are going to be tight, and control of the General Assembly could come down to just a few votes. The money being spent by anti-choice PACs could be the difference between a Republican-controlled legislature and a state where health care choices are still made by people and their doctors.

We’re running out of time to make a difference and fight back against groups like these, and we need to hit our $14,000 goal before Election Day on Tuesday. Please, chip in right now to help us win. [link removed]

Reproductive health care isn’t the only thing at stake on Tuesday. If candidates supported by these groups head to victory thanks to big spending like this, we could see additional voter suppression laws and gun safety rollbacks almost immediately.

We truly cannot afford a Republican-controlled General Assembly. Right now, it’s a real possibility. But if we step up and fight back against these outside groups, we can turn the tide.

We’ll need to dig deep in these final days before Election Day. I’m hoping you can help – will you chip in anything you can before Tuesday to help us meet our $14,000 goal? [link removed]

Thank you,

Mark Warner
