We’re one year out from Election Day. While I’m not on the ballot this cycle, there are a bunch of Democrats who will be and many of them are facing really tough races.

I know there’s a lot going on in the world right now and a lot of different causes demanding your attention and support, but if you can swing a contribution -- even just a few dollars -- it makes a difference for our organization and all the Democrats we’re supporting this cycle.

It’s crucial they have the resources to run strong campaigns and win because let’s face it -- Democrats are the ones who are working to address the big issues facing our country, like passing the biggest climate bill in U.S. history and lowering the cost of prescription drugs for people on Medicare.

Republicans in Congress, on the other hand, can barely get on the same page to pick a new Speaker of the House or avoid a government shutdown. The difference really is that stark.

At a time when the news can be discouraging, it’s easy to tune out. So thank you again for staying engaged with what we’re doing here -- it’s important. And if you can chip in a few bucks, I’d really appreciate it.
