There’s a saying that goes: “When you point a finger at someone, you’ve got three pointing right back at you.” Well, this is exactly what House Republicans spend their time doing.

The infighting last month over the Speakership from GOP members of the House wasted critical time ahead of a potential government shutdown. But now, the MAGA-controlled House is using their time to abuse congressional power in the name of baseless claims and partisan politics.

Now you may be thinking, didn’t New York House Republicans move to expel Rep. George Santos? Well, yes! But guess who failed to hold him accountable: MAGA Republicans. Don’t be fooled, friends, because this is just another smoke and mirrors — this, not that — game from my MAGA colleagues.

I can’t help but wonder, where is the accountability for the architect of the MAGA movement — Donald Trump? What about accountability for Speaker Johnson, who firmly believed — and led — the effort to not certify the 2020 election results?
