Nearly 400,000 people worldwide have signed a petition opposing the sexual abuse and exploitation facilitated by Pornhub. But what allowed racism, incest, violence against women, and videos of child sexual abuse and sex trafficking victims to flourish on the platform in the first place? And what does any of it have to do with a "technology" company called MindGeek?

A new report suggests the tech giant is not fully enforcing its own standards banning content that exploits or endangers children.

Dani Pinter, Esq., Senior Legal Counsel for the National Center on Sexual Exploitation Law Center: "Although Weinstein was acquitted of the more serious crimes of predatory sexual assault and rape in the first degree, the conviction that was handed down should not be seen as only a partial victory." 

Staff members from the National Center on Sexual Exploitation, including president and CEO Patrick Trueman and Michael Shively, Ph.D. (both pictured above), were able to spend time with the Domestic Policy Council of the United States this week in order to educate them on the importance of demand reduction in the fight against sexual exploitation.
