Patriot,
This past week the U.S. Senate had - at last - a recorded
roll-call vote on Audit the Fed, the signature issue upon which
Ron Paul first launched Campaign for Liberty in 2008.
Regrettably, it did not get the 60 votes needed to pass, but now
we know for a certainty who supports Federal Reserve transparency
and who does not.
And make no mistake: we aren't done in the Senate yet - even in
this session.
While we're working on the House, we'll also be working on
squishy senators, many of whom are up for reelection next year.
With enough pressure, we can still get this through the Senate
this session.
All Republican senators voted "Yes" EXCEPT:
-Mitt Romney (UT) - (202) 224-5251
-Mike Rounds (SD) - (202) 224-5842
-Pete Ricketts (NE) - (202) 224-4224
In addition, Mike Lee (UT), Tim Scott (SC), and Thom Tillis (NC)
failed to vote.
All Democrats voted "No" except for Tammy Baldwin (WI). Bernie
Sanders (VT) and Kyrsten Sinema (AZ), Independents who caucus
with the Democrats, also voted "Yes."
Despite falling just a handful of votes short of the 60 votes
needed, it's positive to now have the senators on the record . .
. and now we need to focus on the House.

Tell your representative in Congress right now to cosponsor Audit
the Fed and push Speaker Johnson to move it forward!
With so many issues we're facing - war, crumbling infrastructure,
inflation, election manipulation, etc. - it's easy to think this
isn't the most pressing issue at the moment.
But Patriot, if you look closely, the Federal Reserve has a
hidden hand in all of these issues:
*** War: By printing money out of thin air, the Federal Reserve
allows the politicians in Washington to hide the true costs of
war from the American people. While Joe Biden spouts tiresome
cliches about how we're "the greatest nation in the world" that
can do anything and everything, the reality is we aren't made of
money and every dollar spent abroad is a dollar we don't have
here at home.
*** Crumbling infrastructure: The falsely named "Inflation
Reduction Act" was a glut of special interest spending that put
us on the path for a national debt so high that soon our biggest
expense will be paying interest on the debt. By artificially
pumping newly printed money into the economy, we're losing the
ability to spend money in the future. And of course, the
inflationary money printing leads to. . .
*** Price Inflation: The Federal Reserve is the sole cause of
price inflation! It's what happens when an economy is built on
counterfeit money. Every time you gasp at the grocery bill, you
can thank the Fed for what it's done to the value of the dollar.
*** Election manipulation: Everyone knows Americans vote with
their pocketbooks. By creating a boom today for a bust tomorrow,
the Federal Reserve's manipulation of the economy has a direct
result on political outcomes.
It's all tied together by the Fed's secrecy.
Now that we have a new House Speaker, one who at least claims to
be a "strong conservative," it's time he step up, and we need our
representatives to join the call to get a vote on Audit the Fed
in the House (H.R. 24).
If Mike Johnson wants to prove he is "the real deal," he needs to
make sure there is a committee hearing on Audit the Fed NOW and
then a floor vote.

Even if you've already signed, take just one moment today to send
another message to your representative in Congress. Now that they
have a new Speaker, the environment may be different.
And after you've signed, please make a contribution to help
Campaign for Liberty implement its Audit the Fed action plan.

Now that we can look at the most vulnerable senators who voted
against Audit the Fed, we can begin running programs in their
districts to get them from "no" to "yes."
And of course, we will have House targets too . . . including
Speaker Mike Johnson, if we don't see action on Audit the Fed.
This project takes time, resources, and money. After you sign
your Audit the Fed petition, can you make a generous donation of
$100, $50, or $25?
I know a lot's been asked of Campaign for Liberty supporters like
you lately. But the impact of even a modest contribution of $25
today will make a difference.

We don't get government handouts. Unlike the Fed, we can't print
our own money.
As a non-profit organization, Campaign for Liberty depends on the
generosity of good folks like you for everything we do - and it's
times like these that make me most concerned nothing will stop
our nation's slide toward more authoritarianism without it.
Let's keep up the fight!
For Liberty,
John McCardell
Executive Director
P.S. The Fed's economic meddling is only leading to prices
skyrocketing ever higher. We face the complete destruction of
American wealth unless they're exposed.
That's why Campaign for Liberty is going after the heart of the
statists' and global elites' power base - the Federal Reserve
itself.
So please sign the petition I've prepared for you demanding
Congress' pass Audit the Fed NOW.
