DFA is working to build and empower a broad coalition of grassroots organizers to elect the New American Majority -- people of color and white progressives -- to fight for inclusive populism at all levels of office in all 50 states. They want to know if a candidate moves the progressive movement forward in their community. They are asking ‘Does the candidate's positions and policies build the broader progressive movement? Is the campaign building a people-powered operation and is the candidate working to win?’
