Imagine for a moment if Republicans had spent years tabling over 100 judicial nominations made by President Obama. Years of our government operating without a sufficient judiciary presence because Republicans wanted more conservative judges to hold federal positions.

Well, you don't have to. Because that's exactly what Mitch McConnell and Joni Ernst have done.

Mitch and Joni spent years abusing their power to hoard judicial nominations like dragons guarding their treasure. Then, when Donald Trump was elected, they rushed to appoint his extreme, far-right nominees including two Supreme Court justices. It's nothing short of a full-on takeover of the judicial branch.

We can stop this from happening by electing progressive voices to the Senate. Chip in $10 to help flip this seat blue and stop this blatant abuse of power.

The power of the judiciary branch is nothing to take lightly. Think about what the Supreme Court has presided over in the last 20 years: marriage equality, the Affordable Care Act, Citizens United, the Voting Rights Act, unions, and so much more.

All of these cases have changed the trajectory of our democracy and reshaped our future. McConnell and Joni are all too aware of this, so they prepared for the next 50 years of judicial decisions by stacking the courts in their favor.

We can't allow extreme, out-of-touch politicians like Joni Ernst and Mitch McConnell to continue dragging the courts further to the right. We need to flip this seat and elect progressive voices like Eddie Mauro so we can end their judicial hijacking.
