Last night, we turned the clocks back one hour as Daylight Saving Time
came to an end, giving us one extra hour of sleep.

Although some of the fiercest debates I’ve heard have been about Daylight
Savings, I’m more concerned about the state of our democracy.

In recent years, our democracy has faced some very serious challenges.

MAGA Republicans deposed the Speaker of the House and left the U.S. House
of Representatives to complete chaos and dysfunction for more than three
weeks.

Trump is maintaining a dominant 50-point lead in GOP primary polls despite
his multiple criminal offenses.

MAGA extremism is testing our democracy like never before, and we have
another big fight ahead of us in this next year.

We’ve faced more dire straits before — the challenges of the Trump years
and the fight to defeat him in 2020 — and there’s only one thing we can
do: Leave absolutely no doubt that we will fight MAGA extremism, win this
Senate race, and save our democracy.

ramping up our efforts not only to shield our campaign from far-right
attacks but even more importantly to share our positive message — on
making the economy work for everyone, making housing affordable, and
saving our planet — with California’s 22 million registered voters.
