Hi John xxxxxx,
In just 2 days, every single state House and Senate seat will be on the ballot in Virginia – and the stakes are incredibly high. If voters elect an anti-choice majority, Republican Governor Youngkin has said he will “gleefully” sign an abortion ban as soon as it comes across his desk.
We need to ensure VA voters elect a pro-choice majority to block him from signing that abortion ban into law. This is why we need your help.
We have an amazing roster of impressive, pro-choice women running in Virginia. Before we tell you more, Election Day is on TUESDAY. Will you help us rush last-minute support to our candidates by donating $20.23 or more now? →

Here are just a few of our VA endorsements:
✅ Allison Spillman for Albemarle County School Board, VA: Allison is running against Meg Scalia Bryce, who happens to be the youngest daughter of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia. She shares many of her late father's right-wing views. Of particular note, Scalia Bryce supports outing LGBTQIA+ students against their consent and opposes ACPS's anti-racist “Courageous Conversations” curriculum.
✅ Rae Cousins for Virginia House of Delegates District 79: Rae is a mom, lawyer, and community activist. She was born and raised in Virginia and is running for the House of Delegates because she believes her legal skills will allow her to advocate for and improve the lives of the people in the communities that raised her. She is ready to stand up for abortion access, stronger public schools, and affordable health care as Delegate.
✅ Stella Pekarsky for Virginia State Senate to represent District 36: Stella is a lifelong Virginian, a daughter of immigrants, a teacher, and a leader on her school board. As a state senator, she will fight to protect and invest in schools and protect reproductive healthcare. Stella is running against an anti-choice opponent who wants to work with and support “pro-life pregnancy resource centers.”
✅ Katrina Callsen for the Virginia House of Delegates, District 54: Katrina has seen the consequences of having fundamental rights denied. She knows having a hard-working representative defending Virginia’s future is more important than ever. She is committed to finding common-sense solutions that will protect families and communities.
✅ Susanna Gibson for Virginia House of Delegates, District 57: Susanna Gibson is currently dealing with the most sexism of any of our candidates. We are committed to continue to defend her against these attacks. Susanna is a Nurse Practitioner with degrees from the University of Virginia and Columbia University. She was asked to be the Lead Nurse Practitioner for an entire division at the VCU Division of Geriatrics at just 30 years old. Her opponent, David Owen, has aligned himself with extremists like the Family Foundation, who maintain that life begins “from fertilization.” This week, 538 officially called this seat a TOSS UP. We need to ensure Susanna wins so Democrats can take control of the VA House and defend reproductive rights.
✅ Crystal Parker for School Board in the Fairfield District of Henrico County, VA: We will never stop stressing how CRITICAL the down-ballot races are. In this case, the seat Crystal is running for has only been held by men – and now she’s the only woman in a field of 5 candidates for this seat. (We should also mention the fact that there are Moms For Liberty candidates who have recently entered races for other positions on the board). Crystal has been an active community member and a trusted voice on various committees. As a School Board Member, she is determined to advocate for the children of her community.
✅ Deshundra Jefferson for Chair, Prince William Board of County Supervisors, VA: Deshundra is running in a working-class, majority-minority county that has always had a county board led by wealthy white people. If elected, Deshundra would become the first person to hold this seat with lived experiences that reflect the majority of her electorate. Her opponent has consistently opposed abortion access, serves on the board of a homophobic organization designated a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center, and regularly tweets about her admiration for Ron DeSantis.
Virginia’s elections are CRITICAL to the future of the state – and our country at large. We must support these women in their elections NOW before it’s too late. We don’t want to know what GOP Governor Youngkin will do if he has a Republican majority in the VA legislature. Can you help us rush our candidates last-minute support by donating $20.23 or more immediately?
Together,
Team Her Bold Move
