John,

Throughout my career, I’ve dedicated myself to public service and helping others.  My moral compass points toward the goodness in people, kindness, selflessness and empathy.  Right now our country has a choice - we can elect people who believe in these values or we can subject ourselves to more hatred, selfishness, anger, fear, resentment and retribution.

I’m running for Congress because our nation needs to walk toward the lightness and not the dark.  We can only do this if we work together and this is, truly, a fight for the soul of this nation. 

As the Chief Executive Officer of the American Red Cross for Arizona and New Mexico, the Chief Operating Officer of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America and the Chief Operating Officer of Humanity United (an organization that worked to end genocides, mass atrocities and human trafficking) I have seen how ordinary people can do extraordinary things to help others in need.
