Since Colorado legalized cannabis, medical, and recreational marijuana sales have totaled around $6 billion and generated more than $1 billion in tax revenue.

That is simply far too much money to not have a safe, regulated banking system in place for Colorado’s marijuana businesses. Having stockpiles of cash laying around puts business owners and community members at risk.
