House Republicans this week released proof that President Joe Biden received $40,000 in laundered money from Communist China, in the form of a personal check from the account of his brother, James Biden, and his sister-in-law, Sara Biden. This is a bombshell and disturbing revelation. If this allegation sounds vaguely familiar, there’s a reason for that. Last month, we unveiled that a financially distressed rural hospital operator wired $200,000 into James and Sara Biden’s personal bank account. On the very same day, James Biden wrote a $200,000 check from this same personal bank account directly to Joe Biden.
So, what does all of this mean?
A $200,000 direct payment from James Biden to Joe Biden in the form of a personal check raises serious questions about the extent to which Joe Biden personally benefited from his family’s shady influence peddling and practices. What’s worse is that, clearly, the money trail and shady business dealings didn’t end there. Here’s a timeline of how $40,000 in laundered Chinese money ended up in Biden’s personal checking account, courtesy of the House Oversight Committee: - In August 2017, Hunter Biden demanded $10 million from a Chinese business associate to “further the interest” of his joint-venture with Chinese energy company CEFC, a Chinese Communist Party (CCP)-linked Chinese energy company. As leverage in his deal with his CCP-linked associate, Hunter Biden claimed he was sitting with his father, Joe Biden, and would turn on the associate if he didn’t pay up.
- Days later, $5 million dollars flowed from a Chinese affiliate of CEFC into Hunter Biden’s China joint venture entity. Over three weeks, Biden family members made a series of complicated financial transactions to hide the source of the China money.
- Hunter’s China joint venture entity sent $400,000 to an entity owned and controlled by Hunter Biden. Next, Hunter Biden wired $150,000 to an entity owned by James and Sara Biden.
- Sara Biden then withdrew $50,000 in cash from the entity and deposited it into her and James Biden’s personal checking account.
- A few days later, Sara Biden cut a check to Joe Biden for $40,000. The memo line of the check said, “loan repayment.”
Even in the face of this evidence, Biden continues to uphold the lie that his family did not receive money from China – despite bank records proving otherwise.
Look, I believe in innocence until proven guilty. While I believe that this evidence is deeply concerning and points to a pattern of corruption in the Biden family, we must continue our investigation. House Republicans will hold our Commander-in-Chief to the highest possible standards. Our country deserves nothing less.

Monday, October 30, 2023: On Saturday morning, I had a live interview with Newsmax as we discussed newly elected Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) and the resolution that we passed last week supporting Israel and condemning the terrorist group Hamas.
Yesterday, I joined a GOP Conference call as we heard from leadership regarding the upcoming week and schedule.
This morning, I have a conference call with the Congressional Excellence Program as we review how our office is running and how we can improve things. Next, I head to Fort Frederica National Monument on St. Simons Island where I meet with interim Park Ranger Steve Theiss who also oversees Cumberland Island National Seashore. Fort Frederica was established by Gen. James Edward Oglethorpe in 1736 to defend the colony against a Spanish attack from Florida. In 1742 Spanish and British forces clashed on St. Simons Island and Fort Frederica’s troops defeated the Spanish, ensuring Georgia’s future as a British colony. A recently renovated museum at the Fort tells the story of Fort Frederica.
Afterwards, I head to the Jekyll Island Convention Center where I speak at the State of the Brunswick Port luncheon sponsored by the Brunswick/Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce. Also speaking at the luncheon is Georgia Ports Authority Executive Director Griff Lynch who brings us up to date on the tremendous growth that the Ports of Savannah and Brunswick have experienced over the past few years and the future growth that is expected.
Next, I head to our Brunswick District office where I join in on a Whip Team conference call as we discuss the bills we will be voting on later this week. After a virtual scheduling call with DC staff, I have a virtual communications call followed by a virtual district call. Next, I film a series of videos to cover events that I was scheduled to attend at the end of this week but will miss because our schedule has changed and we will be in Washington for votes.

Tuesday, October 31, 2023: I’m on the radio this morning with my good friend John Fredericks as we discuss funding for Israel, Speaker Johnson, and the budget. Next, I have a call with the President of Express Scripts, a Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM), as we discuss the future of pharmacy and their new initiatives.
Once in my District office in Savannah, I meet with a group of veterans and citizens from Liberty County as we discuss the renaming of the Hinesville VA Clinic in honor of four heroes from Liberty County who paid the ultimate price in the Vietnam War before meeting with another constituent from Hinesville who provides home health care services to veterans.
Afterwards, I have a live interview with Newsmax to discuss aid to Israel, Ukraine, and other news of the day before having a live interview on Fox Business to discuss the same subject matter.
Next, I have a taped interview with WTOC TV in Savannah to discuss legislation I have introduced to require naloxone, a nasal spray that can save someone from fentanyl poisoning if used quickly enough, in every middle and high school in the country.
Later in the evening, I head to Jekyll Island in Glynn County where I attend a meeting with the Board of Directors of the Georgia Airport Association.

Wednesday, November 1, 2023: I am honored today to be the first guest on the inaugural Chris Salcedo radio show on Newsmax as we discuss the situation in Israel and U. S. aid.
Next, I head to the Chatham County Juvenile Court facilities in Savannah where I meet with my good friend, Judge Tom Cole, who gives me a great overview of the functions of the facility. The Juvenile Court is responsible for handling all delinquent complaints concerning children who are under the age of 17 years. Judge Cole is the presiding Judge of the Juvenile Court, whose jurisdiction includes dependency and delinquency cases. Services include family counseling, mental health services, and accountability courts that are effective tools in breaking the addiction cycle through treatment, consistent and frequent testing, and regular meetings with the judges to monitor progress.
Afterwards, I head to my Savannah District office where I meet with Mike Walters, a constituent who is a retired insurance actuary and has a great plan for health care coverage in our country. Mike and I have been reviewing this plan for many years and are excited about the potential it has to offer as escalating health care costs are one of the biggest drivers of debt to our federal budget.
Before heading to the airport for my return trip to Washington, I join in on an all-staff conference call. Once back in my Washington office, I have a virtual meeting with a constituent to discuss my support of Israel before heading to a Whip Team meeting.
Next, I head to the House Chamber for our first vote series of the week and remain afterwards to pay tribute to Patrick Leon Bennett from Waycross who passed recently. Later, I head to the Rayburn Room in the Capitol where I join my Republican colleagues for a live taping of Hannity, with host Sean Hannity, on Fox News.

Next, I head back to the House Chamber for our first of three vote series. Afterwards, I head to the Natural Resources member day hearing where I address the committee regarding my priorities related to their work.
Once back in my office, I meet with a constituent whose sister has been kidnapped by Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip. Later, I head to the House recording studios where I film this week’s edition of Buddy’s Briefing and another tech talk video before heading to a Budget committee member meeting followed by our second vote series of the day. Later in the evening, we have our third vote series of the day and walk off the floor at 11:30 PM.
