Jessica Cisneros lost by less than 3,000 votes. The tough reality is that
we lost by so few votes that just a bit more grassroots contributions,
volunteering, and organizing could have put us over the line.

That’s why we’re reaching out today. We have to be able to show everyone
that we’re still standing strong in this fight for progress and reporting
huge grassroots fundraising numbers this month would prove that momentum
is on our side.

When we helped elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, it sent a shockwave through
the political establishment. We need to be ready to continue our fight to
transform the Democratic Party to fight for working-class folks, not
political elites or corporate special interests.

We’ve seen firsthand how much progress we can make by electing leaders
like Ayanna Pressley and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Leaders like Marie
Newman, Morgan Harper, Jamaal Bowman, Alex Morse, Georgette Gómez, and so
many others.
