COME CAUCUS TOMORROW!
SATURDAY, MARCH 7, 2020 2:00PM
|
Tomorrow is Caucus Day! As a reminder, while we have the Presidential Primary on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 -- we still caucus for all non-presidential candidates! Want to help decide who's going to be on the ballot for the Democratic U.S. Senate primary? Commit to Caucus!
|
So, how do find where to go? Go to www.GoVoteColorado.com and look up your precinct number! You do that by:
- Click "Find my registration", and enter your First and Last Names, your zip code, and your birthday (mm/dd/yyyy). Click "Search".
- Once your Voter Registration is pulled up, click "County & District Information". You'll see your Precinct Number under "District Information".
Once you have that precinct number, go to www.coloradodems.org/2020-caucus-locations and enter the number in the search bar! Your caucus location will then pop up!
|
It's up to you to show up to caucus! We had record turnout for Super Tuesday -- let's keep up the momentum and show Donald Trump, Cory Gardner, and the Republicans that we're fired up and ready to win in November!

Run to Be a Precinct Organizer!
|
There are 3,133 precincts in Colorado, and all of them will be caucus on Saturday, March 7, 2020!
The single most important elected position in the Colorado Democratic Party is to be elected by your precinct to be one of the two organizers (aka Precinct Committee Persons or PCPs) for that precinct (that's 6,266 organizers)!
So, why be a precinct organizer (PCP)? Precinct organizers are community organizers like President Obama was!
- PCPs are THE most local, THE most personal, and THE most effective way to connect with, mobilize and turn out voters to WIN elections. We need YOU to run.
- Precinct organizers are the faces of the Democratic Party for their neighborhood.
- Precinct organizers can register voters, recruit volunteers, inform neighbors about their candidates and elected officials, and help turn out the vote.
*If we do this across the entire State of Colorado in every precinct — game over — we win — big blue tsunami in 2020!
- Precinct organizers have a vote on important party affairs like vacancy committees and officer positions.
- A strong precinct organizer can shape the course of history.
Putting it simply, precinct organizers are the lifeblood of the Colorado Democratic Party, and we need YOU to step up to lead the grassroots to victory in 2020!
How do I become a Precinct Organizer?
- Attend your caucus!
- Raise your hand to say you want to be a Precinct Organizer!
- If your precinct elects you, YOU'RE IN!
Have any questions?
Email Tyler McDermott at [email protected] for more information on why you should be a precinct organizer!

A Super Tuesday to Remember!
|
Let's be blunt here: Colorado's first presidential primary election in 20 years was a SMASHING success! Colorado set a primary record for voter turnout, according to Secretary of State Jena Griswold, and with the ballots counted so far -- Democratic ballots cast are leading Republican ballots cast 1,047,830 to 665,943. For comparison's sake, Democratic turnout in the 2018 Dem primary was 637,002.
In addition to that, according Secretary Griswold, we're on track to have the highest voter turnout of any Super Tuesday state or any primary that's happened in the nation. GO COLORADO!
Thanks to everyone also who turned out for our amazing Super Tuesday Watch Party at Stoney's Bar and Grill in Denver, and kudos to all the county party folks who held their own watch parties all across the state!
So, what's the bottom line?
- Democrats have all the momentum heading into November. Our voters are fired up, and ready to send Donald Trump packing.
- Colorado Democrats are especially fired up, and that is BAD NEWS for Cory Gardner.
This is why we implore you to attend caucus on Saturday (that's tomorrow)! It's your first opportunity cast your vote on who you want to face off against Cory Gardner in November. Let's send a message to the Republicans this Saturday -- we're ready, and we're coming!
PS: Check out some of the great media coverage about our watch party!
