john — We’ve made great progress over the last ten years to protect and expand LGBTQ+ rights and equality, but it could all be undermined by new House Speaker Mike Johnson.
That’s right — Mike Johnson holds some extreme, out-of-touch, harmful views on the LGBTQ+ community, and we have to hold the line in the U.S. Senate to defend these rights.
Please chip in to support Tina’s work to defend the Senate majority and protect our LGBTQ+ allies across the country from seeing their rights stripped away. [[link removed]]

Mike Johnson is hellbent on taking away rights and liberties from the LGBTQ+ community. His record shows this, no matter what he might say or do to walk back his old statements:
He equated support of homosexuality and LGBTQ+ people to support of pedophilia.
He opposed gay marriage and led efforts to ban same-sex marriage in Louisiana.
And he worked with a conversion therapy organization that advocated for the criminalization of gay sex.
john, these positions are dangerous. At a time when LGBTQ+ hate crimes are on the rise, having a Speaker of the House who espouses these discriminatory views will only further imperil the LGBTQ+ community.
That’s why Tina is hard at work in the U.S. Senate to pass the Equality Act to protect people in the LGBTQ+ community. That’s why she’s calling out Mike Johnson’s awful record.
And that’s why she’s fighting like hell to defend the Democratic Senate Majority and flip the House from Red to Blue — because we need to protect the LGBTQ+ community from people in power like Mike Johnson. Please, chip in to support her work today. [[link removed]]

Thank you for supporting the LGBTQ+ community — now more than ever, we need to speak out on their behalf and defend their rights to love who they love without hate or harm.
