I've always believed that the rich tapestry of our nation is made even more vibrant by the diverse stories and voices of our culture — which is why I have always worked to increase representation in our country.

Recently, I submitted 35 classics to the Library of Congress' National Recording Registry— from Shakira to Selena Gomez — to recognize the incredible contributions of Latino artists in shaping our cultural landscape.

Where else do you think we should see more representation? Share your thoughts by filling out my quick survey:

TAKE THE SURVEY

The Library of Congress' National Recording Registry is a prestigious collection of recordings considered “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant,” — but while there are 600 songs in the registry, less than 5% reflect the work of Latino artists.

I've always advocated for increasing representation in multiple industries, from art and music to business and government.

Will you take a moment and complete a quick survey about representation in our country?

Thank you,

Joaquin
