John, today marks the anniversary of the formation of the Congressional Family Military Caucus.
Congressman Sanford Bishop co-founded this caucus to advocate in the interests of military families primarily by educating and bringing awareness in Congress to the unique challenges these families face.
Too often, the sacrifices our military families make go thankless. The reality is they go through tremendous hardships while their loved one serves our country. The caucus was formed to shine a light on the challenges our military families face and to seek solutions to address and resolve the issues that impact them.
